Should I sell my 2003 Avalanche and trade it for an H2 hummer 2003? Why or why not?

They can actually be used as a truck and have some nice mods. H2s are driving penis extensions that put the Hummer name to shame, their wheels fall off in parking lots, and don't have the same functionality. And to add insult to injury, they are way more expensive to fix. If you get a hummer get an H1 otherwise, stick with a truck! I'd rather have a Hummer, for the sake of standing out of the crowd. Both vehicle types are capable in all terrain, but everyone seems to have a Jeep and very few have a Hummer. And anything you can do in a Jeep you can do in a Hummer and vice versa. Heck, anything you can do in a Range Rover you can do in a Jeep or Hummer.

I'm looking into buying one.Does a 2006 Hummer 3 SUV have any problems?OK so obviously none of these people actually know what an H3 is. I have a 2006 H3. It is not a reckless fuel hog. It averages 18mpg between highway and city. If you are mostly city you should see about 14-15 mpg highway is about 19. Now mine is one of the first H3s built so naturally it has some kinks that were workedout in the 07 model year, but I still love mine. What I would suggest to you is to have it inspected at a private repair shop. Have them look at the bushings under the vehicle, that's where I've had the majority of my minor problems. Other than that, just iignorethe ignorant tree-hugging eco freaks that don't realize that hummers aren't the bad guys they are made out to be.
P.S. Most of the bad things people are rreferringto are about an H2 which is much bigger and gets less fuel economy. Even still, an H2 is the same vehicle (with different outside) as a Chevy Suburban, GMC Yukon, Cadillac Escalade...Does a 2006 Hummer 3 SUV have any problems?

its like a tank, its strong and its big and heavy and you will feel safe and the king or in your case the queen of the road.
the downside, its only like 12 mpg and thats the max. you will probably get like 9 or 10 in the city. if money for gas is not a problem for you then get it. dont listen to what other people here have to say.
but be warned its 100 bucks a tank!

The poor fit and finish of the body is only overshadowed by the crappy underpowered engine and the screamingly bad looks. They are terrible on the highway and off the highway.
