Okay, I really gotta know... how are Hummer drivers coping with gas prices?

It seems like they'd be spending ~$.50 a mile on gas now...Okay, I really gotta know... how are Hummer drivers coping with gas prices?I would say they are driving slower and less often and cutting down on "cruising." Even though Hummer drivers probably are financially able to afford gas, they usually aren't independently wealthy. Almost everyone, except the truly rich, has a gas price that begins to hurt. And everyone has a price above which they just can't pay it anymore. But when gas goes up by "only"3 or 4 cents a day, it's hard to notice. It's like the straw that finally broke the camel's back. We are all riding "camels" of different strengths. A penny increase here, a penny increase there, then all of a sudden, CRACK! "What happened? I'm spending $20 a day on gas!!"Okay, I really gotta know... how are Hummer drivers coping with gas prices?
well i dont know where the above ppl. are from, saying that if you can afford a Hummer, you can afford gas. In California, only wannabes drive hummers around, and yes they are felling the 4.05 a galon that they have to pay. my neighbor doesnt even drive his anymore, his dumbass is paying for it and not enjoying itOkay, I really gotta know... how are Hummer drivers coping with gas prices?Hummers are what people buy who have more money than brains, they are no better 4 wheel drives than a toyota or chevy truck, and most people who drive them probably never took them off the pavement. It is more of a " Look what I can afford" purchase, no practicality at all, so they can afford gas for them. They are an eyesore in my opinion.Okay, I really gotta know... how are Hummer drivers coping with gas prices?
If I had one, I'd trade it in for a 2008 Tesla Roadster!!!

125 MPH top speedOkay, I really gotta know... how are Hummer drivers coping with gas prices? If you can afford a hummer than who cares how much gas is. "Unless you are one of those people who has a car that can't you really afford that you shouldn't be driving."Okay, I really gotta know... how are Hummer drivers coping with gas prices?
If you can afford a Hummer you can afford the gas. Unless your a 30K a year millionaire that couldn't afford it in the first place, well... that's just funny.

The two friends of mine that drive them paid cash for them. If you have +55k to buy a car cash, you have the couple hundred to fill it up a week.
I think it's safe to assume that people who can afford Hummers can also afford gas. Around here, the only people who drive them are wealthy.
