I always hear Ford sucks.... but, I dont know...please help.

the hummer H3 is the biggest automotive abortion of all time. It's poorly built, unreliable, ugly, and slow. The only redeeming feature is "hey look at me, I'm driving a hummer" and even then, you're driving a small hummer, which defeats the purpose of driving a hummer!



You should really look at the 2008 Mazda CX-9. It just picked up Motor Trend SUV of the year and is a tremendous car for the money, and it is drop dead gorgeous!Should i buy a 2008 Ford Edge or Hummer H3 ?niether. hummers and fords both suck. get a jeep grand cherokee or a commander. way better than them and they get better millage depending on which engien you get and they will last forever. i had a jeep wrangler with 500k on it
The H3 is a POS. They are slow, unreliable, and terrible on gas. Sure, they are good off road, but since you are also looking at an Edge, I take it you don't plan on too much off roading. The H3 has more curb appeal, but I bet you'll be happier with the Edge for daily driving. Also, keep in mind that the Ford Edge and Mazda CX-9 share the same platform.



And don't believe for a second that Ford sucks, especially their new products like the Edge. There is some issues about the reliability of the transmission, since it has never been put on a vehicle with what Ford is calling "versatility". The Hummer is a nice truck, but would rather take the Hummer H2, since it actually has some potential to off-roading.



The Hummer H3 is expensive to maintain if you do not have an extended warranty attached to it. I would recommend that you have a look at a comparison website.

Actually Ford was tied with Toyota in quality and is cheaper and has a better mpg rating, holds the same amount of people but unless you are going off road with it I would suggest the Edge not because I like Ford's but because it seems like the better buy to me. Good luck with your decision.
