Why can't I play a burned CD in a Hummer?

I burned a CD for a friend....new cds play on his cd player in his Hummer, but not burned cds.....



I am using the mp3 format.



any ideas?Why can't I play a burned CD in a Hummer?Sounds like the CD player doesn't support MP3 format.
