Hummers are really POS vehicles. They are built on the same platform as other GM SUVs, yet the cost much more...besides they're basically boxes on wheels. Its just status symbol, something materialistic. Anything but the H1 isn't a true offroading vehicle. Besides I can bet you most Hummer owners never intend on taking their hummer offroad.
