Wife's 30th Birthday in NYC?

I am looking for a generic place (think TGI Fridays) to have my wifes Birthday on May 9th. At most ten people will be attending, and of varying financial backgrounds, so I dont want to spend alot.



Some are coming from CT, some from brooklyn, so I figured NYC was a good central location, but the only ideas I have come up with are TGI's and a place called Ayza . Any help would be much appreciated!

Definitely use an online yellow pages for something like that, its usually what I do! You can not only see a list of placesx to give you some ideas but you can sort it by the type of food or specialty food, their features or atmosphere, such as a full bar or live music! I had my wedding at Tavern on the Green and I do NOT recommend it (sorry to the person above) but I would definitely say Dave %26amp; Busters! You are sure to have a good time there and the food is very good but Fridays is also good.
One of the best places is Tavern on the Green, right on central park. Maybe a little pricy . . . but for a 30th B-Day it's good . . . and SOOOOO Romantic
