What exactly is the deal with this? Most chain restaurants with bars promote from within. You start off as a server, then after the required training, you can switch to the bar.



I've worked at several and this is the procedure. Even privately owned places do this.
Put in an application anyway and check the status on it weekly . It will show initiative and interest which most jobs look for in any position .
