Is the Hummer H3 really just a "kit car"?

Instead of making a smaller Hummer, GM actually took their large Chevy pickup platform and engine and designed a hummer-looking shell - wahla, the H3! So is it actually a Hummer or just a chevy pickup in disguise? Is the Hummer H3 really just a "kit car"?both the H2 and H3 are built on a Chevy truck frame that's why they cost less to buy because it cost less to build. Is the Hummer H3 really just a "kit car"?
Chevy pickup in disguise, this also apply's to the h2 the h1 is the only "true" hummer, atleast in my opinion. Is the Hummer H3 really just a "kit car"?could be :)Is the Hummer H3 really just a "kit car"?
it is a truckIs the Hummer H3 really just a "kit car"?It says Hummer on the grill, so it's a Hummer. Is the Hummer H3 really just a "kit car"?
Many cars share a chassis but are clearly unique cars (ie. Infinity G35 %26amp; Nissan 350Z). Suspension and other bits are tuned differently for the other car. It doesn't mean it is a kit car.
