Poll: Is it time to finally buy that Hummer!?

With the GM announcement that they might axe the wonder truck, do you think prices might finally go down enough for the average person to buy? I would like to find an H3 less than $15, and H2 less than $29, and I am really on the look out for an Ex-Military Hummer, with the Multifuel Engine, and then slant hatch.Poll: Is it time to finally buy that Hummer!?You might find a used one for the prices you quote, but never new, they won't sell them for much less then it cost to build them. The H3 mpg isn't much different from most other mid-sized SUV's, I never liked Hummer and always thought they were ridiculous and big piles of scrap. The H1 was discontinued and really shouldn't have been street legal anyway. I'm thinking that gas will peak around $4.60/gallon this summer but by fall we may be back down below $4 making a tarmac leviathon seem like a better idea...
