jeep. hummers arent too handy. jeeps are smaller and higher, wll thats if u change the tires. and since they are not as long as hummers, the bottom scrapes less and stuff. but yea, for the street well a hummer, it just has so much other stuff. jeeps focus more on offroading so the sacrifice lots of good stuff the hummer has.What is a better 4x4? jeep wrangler or hummer?You're wondering what is best off-road? The Hummer is built to off-road but the manufacturers didn't put enough thought into all that rattling, bouncing,and serious WORK that gets done to it when you're actually off-roading the thing. Most of the electrical will come loose.... example: automatic windows wont work as well, if at all... you'll start to notice random lights not working, like the ones in the door.... and also most of the bearings will need to be replaced way sooner than the Jeep's.



If you want style, go for the Hummer



If you want a beast, go for the Jeep



Ive been off-roading everything from Jeeps to Toyotas to Nissans for 7 years... and Ive gone through 6 vehicles... I know what Im talking about! Whatever you do, dont get a Ford unless you are ready to mod pretty much everything.

A jeep wrangler because Hummers get like 3 miles to the gallon. Yeah sure they look more "manly" but you're not going to look so manly with an empty wallet.
