Is it better to put a dual exhaust on a hummer H3 3.5L?

I am looking to put a dual exhaust on my 2008 H3 3.5l, but i dont want to lose any power or performanceIs it better to put a dual exhaust on a hummer H3 3.5L?Its not going to make any difference really, only increase the sound note to a throatier sound. You may even gain 5hp but your going to be adding weight too.
