The 2009 Land Cruiser gets 13 city, and 16 highway. Comparatively, the Hummer gets as bad as gas mileage, and also the cost is high. If you are looking at the Land Cruiser, the specs and options are far greater than what you are getting on a Hummer, but with a price. A new base model Land Cruiser costs at least $65,000, about $73,000 if you're willing to add all the extras on it. So, you are looking at paying at least $30,000 more to trade it in. I have a 2007 Land Cruiser and they have the best "ride" compared to any of the other SUV's.
