i got an h3 but ive been driving a 97 maxima to save gas but im wasting more money having two cars on the insurance so i wanna get a sporty gas saver. The max is a v6 so i can punch it or drive slow and save on gas. Another knock on the RX8 is the cost of simple stuff. The spark plugs were somewhere between $16-35 EACH X 4. Emiller got it right. The RX-8 is not particularly frugal at the pump. The new Camaro V6 gets decent mileage and offers good performance. The Mazadspeed 3, WRX, and GTI all are capable of fair fuel mileage and are still pretty quick.
